The City of Jacksonville's Division of Sports & Entertainment leads the city's direction in sports, special events and film & television production. It is further responsible for directing the city’s facility manager (ASM) to manage and operate city-owned facilities such as EverBank Stadium, VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, 121 Financial Ballpark, Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center, Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts, the Ritz Theatre & Museum and Daily’s Place which features a new state-of-the-art Amphitheater and covered Flex Field.
 
In addition, the Office is responsible for contract management of multiple contractual agreements including ASM, Jacksonville Jaguars, Florida-Georgia, Gator Bowl Association, Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, Jacksonville Armada FC, Jacksonville IceMen, Jacksonville Symphony and the Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair.
 
The Division of Sports & Entertainment permits and produces events which positively contribute to the quality of life and culture for the residents and visitors of Jacksonville. Events such as Florida-Georgia, the Jacksonville Jazz Festival, Veterans Day Parade, World of Nations Celebration, MLK Breakfast, 4th of July Celebration and the Sea & Sky Air Show drive economic impact for the city as well as market Northeast Florida as a premier destination for visitors.
 
The city works alongside several community partners to actively recruit, host and support many events that call Jacksonville, Florida home. Jacksonville and Northeast Florida have some of the best facilities in the nation for hosting sporting, entertainment and cultural events of all kinds. The city's facilities, along with its superb weather, beaches, thriving downtown and highly experienced staff, make Jacksonville the best choice for your next event.
